Maripat Abbott

Maripat Abbott started her career right out of college, climbing the corporate ladder as a buyer for a department store. Eventually she was responsible for millions of dollars worth of merchandise for many stores. The position rewarded her with money and recognition, but also took its toll with long hours, lots of travel and high stress.

After 10 years, Maripat realized that she was missing the human story that she had studied as an English literature major in college. She soon discovered the field of life coaching, which allowed her to maximize her ability to listen deeply to others and empower them to improve their lives.

She earned her certification as a life coach in 2006, the same year she also became a certified yoga instructor. Today, she is honored to work with clients all over the country and overseas, who are ready to bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be.

She uses many tools with her clients, including yoga, life coaching, retreats and tele-seminars. She calls her approach a “coat of many colors” because she sees each person as a unique and blank canvas. Each client will respond to their own unique blend of colors from her coat of experiences.

Maripat has walked in the corporate world, on the yoga mat and through the interior worlds of her clients. Her mission today is to empower courageous people to become the CEO’s of their physical, financial and emotional health. It’s her great joy to see this happening every single day.
