Kim Brittingham
We welcomed Kim to WATRD in October 2009 after her first post The Audiacity of Cope hit home with our readers. She adds a confident, sexy new flair to the fat acceptance movement, and her direct, controversial style is right up our alley.

Kim Brittingham is a personal essayist, blogger, and creator/host of an online video series “Kim Weighs In”
Her first book, a memoir titled “Read My Hips”, is coming in 2010 from Harmony Books.
She’s a fat activist (you might remember her “social experiment” involving a fake book cover proclaiming that “Fat is Contagious”, which landed her on The Today Show and NPR). She’s also a compulsive overeater, a wrangler of panic and anxiety attacks, an ’80s pop culture geek and a fan of all things Victorian underworld.
Her web site is www.kimwrites.com.
