Josie "YumYucky"
Josie Maurer (aka Yum Yucky) is an East Coast dweller raised by her white, Austrian grandmother. Her younger years met with tough challenges that conditioned her to roll with the punches, create positive outcomes from difficult situations, and not only hope for the best, but go after it. She was a single mother of two for nine years, then married in 2004 and added another two children to the brood. Josie has a background in financial services, namely Personal Trust and Estate administration. She also assists her husband in business in her role as Editor of The Draft Review.
Josie confesses to a bit of greediness, which she infuses with corny humor for fun and entertainment on Yum Yucky, her foodie and fitness blog. She is of the Christian faith, wishes her husband would do the cooking and laundry (all of it), and enjoys Cartoon Network even when the kids aren’t around.
