Jennifer Medina MS, RD, CDE, CDN

Prior to forming Brown & Medina Nutrition, Jennifer had been a senior nutritionist with the private practice Joy Bauer Nutrition. For over 10 years Jennifer specialized in pediatric nutrition, eating disorders, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, weight control, food allergies, and modified Atkins diet for epilepsy treatment. She is a certified diabetes educator and in addition to private practice works for Animas / Johnson & Johnson as an insulin pump trainer. Her earlier clinical work experience includes positions at The Joslin Diabetes Treatment Center at St. Lukes Roosevelt Hospital, NYC; The Vanitallie Center for Weight Management at St. Lukes Roosevelt Hospital; SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Lutheran Medical Center. Jennifer has been featured on national TV and has been both a contributor and technical editor of books regarding the treatment of eating disorders and diabetes. She graduated from Columbia University with an MS in Nutrition and Applied Physiology and graduated from New York University with a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics.
