What’s a person in recovery to do when, for the sake of her own health, she needs to go against family traditions, often beloved traditions, relating to food and eating? We also talk about what motivates a person to become committed to recovery work.
Doing the healing work required to fully recover from an eating disorder takes time, energy, requires courage and determination. How does a person rally herself or himself to get on her recovery path and stay the course through the good and hard times?
