BODY EMPOWERMENT – “Feeling the Mind/Body Connection with Adrienne Glasser”

As part of the weekly Wednesday posting of my ongoing YouTube series “Body Empowerment,” here’s “BODYEMPOWERMENT_LOGOREVFeeling the Mind/Body Connection with Adrienne Glasser (Body Empowerment 82)” originally posted May 20, 2013, on YouTube.com by Caroline Rothstein. In honor of International No Diet Day, this video addresses the difference between diet as a noun, versus diet as a verb.

About BODY EMPOWERMENT:

Founded in 2008, “Body Empowerment” is hosted and produced by NYC-based writer, performer, and eating disorder recovery advocate Caroline Rothstein. In an effort to promote eating disorder awareness, prevention, and recovery, as well as promote positive body image worldwide, Caroline shares her own recovery stories – both the challenges and triumphs – as well as the ways in which we can empower our bodies and selves on emotional and mental levels.

New episodes air on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month. Caroline welcomes and encourages viewer comments, questions, and video topic requests.

Join the conversation and dialogue – and more importantly, the BODY EMPOWERMENT movement!

Spread the word – we all deserve a lifetime of empowerment!

  1. Mary says:

The answer is Jesus! He loves you and created you with a purpose and for victory in Him. He died to set people free from shame. When you ask Him to be your Lord and Savior, and invite Him into your heart, you receive His powerful grace and Holy Spirit to grow in Him. Rather than looking for others’ approval, look to God and Jesus. They offer unconditional love. In Christ, you will see yourself as loved, accepted, forgiven and capable. The first step is to attend a Bible church, and read the book of John in the Bible. I learned the truth-who I am in Christ. That truth gave me life and hope! He wants us to rely on Him, not ourselves. Listen to the truth from Jesus, not the lies of the enemy. John 10:10 and 14:6.
