Recent years has brought at 42% increase of eating disorders in women in their 30s, 40s and 50s. I found this Today Show segment really informative, but sadly not surprising.

Wow with all this focus on teenagers, I didn’t even think about older women with ed. Thank you for posting this.
Such a great post. I did not start struggling with anorexia until my early 20’s and I know there are many more women (and men!) who are older & also face this struggle. Thank you for bringing awareness to what I believe is such an important topic. I talk about ED recovery (and other things) on my blog and I would love to link your site so others can take a look.
Hi Brittnie: Nice to meet you, please do link to this post or to the site by clicking on the top navigation “About” section, then click on “Blog Bling” to grab the code for a graphic you can place on your site.
Your post about your Grandma is wonderful, what a special relationship, you are blessed. I hope she is peaceful at this time.
Finally, my personal blog at mamavision.com is focused strictly on eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, EDNOS, etc) so you may like that site as well.
Take care!
